Having lots of fun, while supporting a local family. That was the goal of the Lyttle Fun Fair on Sunday in Ingersoll's Centennial Park. The event was in memory of 2-year-old Gabriel Lyttle, who drowned in a swimming pool last month. He had been visiting some friends of the family when tragedy struck in a backyard pool in Salford. Co-organizer of the fun fair, Susie McCauley spoke with Heart FM about why they pulled the fun fair together. "Cause Gabe was an amazing little boy, and this family has been thrown into an unspeakable tragedy that no one would want to face. It makes everybody step back and realize how fast it can happen. So to see the community come in an support this, and support this family, it's been absolutely amazing." The event included a BBQ, kids activities and raffles. Organizers were hoping to raise a few thousand dollars to help the family.
