Police say a Stratford man was trying to make cannabis oil when he caused a small explosion at his home.
STRATFORD - A 33 year old man from Startford is facing charges of arson after causing an explosion, while they were trying to make cannabis oil.
Police and Fire were called to the home on Inverness Street on Monday evening. The man was cooking cannabis, in an attempt to convert it to oil, which caused an explosion. He was charged with Arson and Damage to Own Property and breach of probation.
The man was transported to Stratford Police Headquarters where he was later released on an Undertaking and is required to attend court on July 6, 2020. No injuries were caused as a result of this incident.
