The Maple Leafs Alumni team now has a full roster as they add two more players for the game supporting the CMHA Oxford.
WOODSTOCK - The last two players on the Maple Leafs Alumni team coming to Woodstock have been announced.
Sniper Al Iafrate and Matt Martin will round out the star studded Leafs squad headlined by Darcy Tucker. Some of the other notable players include Rick Vaive, Darryl Shannon and Mike Krushelnyski.
The Leafs alumni will take on a team of Oxford County all stars on March 5th at the Woodstock Community Complex. Rounding out the Leafs roster are former players Pat Boutette, Lou Franceschetti, Todd Warriner, Peter Ihnacak and Mark Laforest.
"Together with partners Heart FM, and Scotiabank of Woodstock, the Canadian Mental Health Association will commit the energy and proceeds from this mid-winter event to further increase awareness about family and youth mental health. One in four Canadian youth will experience mental illness during their life and Oxford County families struggle daily with the challenges of mental illness, and the stigma that surrounds mental illness."
Tickets are still available for the March 5, 2016 CMHA Oxford event online at cmhaoxford.on.ca or by calling the CMHA Oxford Branch at 519-539-8055 x 200.
