$5,000 worth of meat and a Cargo Van were stolen from a butcher shop in Perth County.
PERTH COUNTY - Police are investigating after a break and enter at the Walnut Hill Farms Butcher Shop in Perth County.
OPP were initially called to the shop after getting a report of a stolen vehicle. When officers arrived they also noticed the butcher shop had been broken into and a delivery van was stolen. The GMC Savana Cargo Van was driven away from the property and the thief or thieves filled it with meat on Sunday night around 11:30 pm.
Some of the stolen meat includes 10 boxes of pepperettes, half country hams, boxes of Texas burgers, a box of wild boar garlic maple sausage and a box of beef roasts. The estimated value of the stolen meat is $5,000.
