Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 today and have officially listed the case at Secord Trails as an institutional outbreak.
OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 today.
Oxford County currently has 3 active cases and they have two active cases in St. Thomas/Elgin County.

- 1 case in Ingersoll
- 1 case in East Zorra Tavistock
To date, the Health Unit has tested 3,605 people for COVID-19. We have 65 cumulative confirmed cases, 56 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 5 active cases. We have also had three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared. Two outbreaks were in Elgin County and they are listed as resolved. The new institutional outbreak is at Secord Trails Long Term Care Home in the Town of Ingersoll. An employee has tested positive for the virus. All staff and residents have been tested and as of this publication, no further cases have been confirmed, however some of the tests are still pending.
