Scott Takacs is looking to become the next Ward 2 Councillor of Norwich Township.
NORWICH - A Norwich man would like to inspire change in Norwich Township Council Chambers, as the next Ward 2 Councillor.
Scott Takacs says strong communication will create a strong community.
"I do believe communication is key and a lot of the past blips could have been avoided with better and proficient communication. Whether it's calling, e-mailing or even hosting nights once a month where people get together and talk about what's going on within the village of Norwich."
If he is elected in this fall, Takacs would also like to stregthen the police presence in the area.
"I understand you can't have somebody there all the time, but at the same time if nobody is there we're not familiar with them. People call the police and they find out it's going to take so long for them to get there; it's just a little disheartening."
Takacs believes his lack of political experience will give him an advantage because he will be to ask old questions and resurface new answers.
Takacs is running against the incumbent Lynne DePlancke. Norwich Township residents will head to the polls on October 22nd.
