Woodstock's Zellers store will be closed by this time next year. Hudson's Bay Company says 64 of its Zellers stores are no longer viable and it plans to close the doors on those operations. The move will affect up to 64-hundred jobs. The Bay has been contemplating what to do with its Zellers brand since last year. That's when it sold the majority of the leases for its 279 discount stores to Target for 1.83 billion dollars. The Bay says most of the remaining stores will be closed by next March.
