Kaitlin McKay has been volunteering with the Oxford 4H Association since 2020 and she recently received the 4H Ontario Outstanding New Club Leader Award.
ONTARIO - An Oxford County 4H Association member has won the 4H Ontario Outstanding New Club Leader Award.
It was announced that Kaitlin McKay was one of the three award recipients across the province earlier this week. Trish Downey of the South-Simcoe 4H Association and Rebecca Vissers of the Durham-East 4H Association also won the award.
The Outstanding New Club Leader Award honours volunteers who have been with their local association for less than three years and truly embody the 4H pledge with local youth during that time.
McKay has volunteered with the Oxford County 4H Club since 2020. She has been a member of many local 4H clubs over the years including Our Great Outdoors, Cookie, Community Involvement, Pollinator, Adopt-A-Grandparent, My Plate and The Planet.
