There have been two more yellow warnings issued by Environment Canada for Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Two more yellow watches have been issued for Oxford County by Environment Canada.
They are for snow squalls and blowing snow. Environment Canada says we could experience some brief but intense snowfall, possibly bringing another 5 centimetres. If you have to go anywhere, make sure you have a full tank of gas and an emergency kit on hand. The roads could become quite messy out there, and the heavy snow could make it hard to see at times.
The other warning is for blowing snow, and that is expected to last through the evening. Winds of 50 to 70 km/h are causing the blowing and drifting snow. It will be most pronounced in open, wind-exposed areas, including along the Lake Erie shore.
