As of right now, Oxford County's draft budget for 2024 consists of $349-million, with $244.9-million for funding operations, and $104.1-million for capital projects.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County has begun its 2024 Business Plan and Budget process.
It started on Wednesday, November 15th with the first of two special budget meetings, where Council talked about the different parts of the document.
The draft budget shows a total of $349-million, with a breakdown of $244.9-million for funding operations, and $104.1-million in capital projects. As part of the budget process, County Council will also consider $327-thousand in community grant requests.
Those requests are from the Social Planning Council Oxford, Oxford Creative Connections, Oxford Connection for Economic Development, The Small Business Centre–Oxford, and more.
The 2024 Budget was developed by County staff to respond to the Council’s direction in the new 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. For a full look at the draft budget and other information click here.
