Police say an eastbound motorist struck a pedestrian while he was outside of his vehicle on the 401 on Wednesday October 19, 2019 around 8:30 pm. The vehicle took off from the scene and 43 year old Damitri Baranov of Chatenuguay, Quebec was left to die at the side of the road.
Police are continuing to investigate this and are looking for some fresh leads.
