Alexandre Alary will continue to represent Oxford County on Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford's trustee for the local French catholic school board has been acclaimed.
Alexandre Alary is ready to serve his second term with Conseil Scolaire Catholique Providence.
The local father of three has played a role in the new expansion to Woodstock's Sainte Marguerite Bourgeoys.
"Obviously everyone saw there was a lot of portables added after the initial construction back in 2011. We're excited to finally be able to get rid of a lot of them, not all of them but a lot of them, by adding eight classrooms to Sainte Marguerite Bourgeoys."
Looking to the future; Alary says the French school board faces its own unique challenges.
"It's very difficult to find staff that are French speaking in the area. It's a challenge to offer a good quality education in this environment so recruiting for us is very important."
