US swimmer Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in history. His 19th career medal is gold as he swam the anchor leg in an easy victory for the United States in the men's 4x200 freestyle relay. France was more than three seconds behind. Fifteen of Phelps' 19 medals are gold. Earlier, he won a silver in the men's 200-metre butterfly, losing to Chad le Clos of South Africa.
