We finally know who let the dogs out - Pittock Conservation is hosting a K9 Demonstration with several working dogs.
WOODSTOCK - Officer Striker will be one of many dogs who will be showing off their special skills during a K9 demonstration at Pittock Conservation area.
Striker and the rest of the Woodstock Police Canine Unit will be joined by Stratford Police, the Oxford IPO and the MNR Conservation Officer Canine Unit.
Conservation Area Clerk Katie Ebel says this demonstration will showcase all of the dogs and their different abilities.
"The different officers showing off the talents and skills of their dogs, whether it be searching for missing persons, searching for objects."
Ebel says each unit is unique, especially the dogs from the MNR Conservation Officer Unit.
"Their dogs are just very different in that they do a lot more searches for natural resource purposes. I think there is going to be quite the array of skills shown."
The demonstration will take place on Friday August 19th at 7 p.m. There will also be free admission into the conservation area that day starting at 6 p.m.
