The Province of Ontario confirmed 287 new cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 21 deaths. They also announced another 260 people have made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 287 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.1% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 26,191.
The Province also confirmed another 21 deaths bringing the total to 2,123 and 1,335 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 260 people have made a full recovery from the virus and the total number of resolved cases now sits at 19,958.
4,892 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,703 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 848 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 143 are in the ICU and 113 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province only completed 9,875 tests yesterday.
