The Province of Ontario confirmed another 383 cases of COVID-19 this morning and another 34 deaths. Meanwhile the resolved cases now sits at 20,673 after another 301 people made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 383 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.4% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 26,866.
The Province also confirmed another 34 deaths bringing the total to 2,189 and 1,377 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile another 301 people have made a full recovery from the virus and the total number of resolved cases now sits at 20,673.
4,964 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,745 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 833 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 137 are in the ICU and 94 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province completed 17,615 tests yesterday.
