The Province of Ontario confirmed another 404 cases of COVID-19, which is a 1.6% increase. To date, 25,904 people in Ontario have contracted the virus and 19,698 have made a full recovery.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 404 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, which is a 1.6% increase and brings the total number of cases in the Province to 25,904.
The Province also confirmed another 29 deaths bringing the total to 2,021 and 1,323 of those deaths were residents in Long Term Care Homes. Meanwhile the total number of resolved cases now sits at 19,698.
4,862 of the COVID-19 cases in Ontario since the pandemic started were residents of Long Term Care Homes and 1,678 cases are from health care workers.
We currently have 859 COVID-19 patients in the hospital, 148 are in the ICU and 114 are in the ICU on a ventilator. The Province only completed 8,170 tests yesterday.
