It's one last chance for the public to make their opinions clear on the muddy waters of Cedar Creek. A public meeting goes tonight at the Woodstock Museum with several options on the table. One of those options has not been popular. It would see the historic Southside Pond filled in. The pond is a trap for animal waste and sediment, and one of the leading causes of poor water quality in Cedar Creek. Woodstock Mayor Pat Sobeski told Heart FM this week, "We can understand the concern. I think there's been a clear message from those attending (the public meetings) that Southside Pond is part of the tradition of Woodstock, so we have to work around it." Other options include removing dams to improve water flow. The public meeting starts at 6 pm at the Museum.
