Over 30 vendors offered up some tasty treats at the Forks and Corks event
WOODSTOCK - Forks were flashing and corks were popped at the Oxford Auditorium last night.
The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce put on Forks and Corks - formerly known as Taste Odyssey - and people came out to sample all the best from over 30 vendors from Oxford County.
Chamber Member Jim Harrison says it's important for the Chamber to really support these local enterprises.
"It's a great place to get together, it's a great place to interact with your fellow business people. But it's also a chance to showcase what Oxford County can provide. It's a fun, interactive event. People go away feeling good about food and each other, and the fact they had an opportunity to talk."
Harrison says this was a great chance for people to really discover the flavours of Oxford.
"It gives them the chance to show what they can do. And it doesn't matter if you're selling chocolate, or hot dogs, or high end cuisine. Everyone eats, everyone drinks, and they all want a variety of tastes and experiences and this group of vendors provides that variety."
