The Salford Community Centre will be undergoing the renovations that they wanted. The County has approved their request for the financial support of $500. Andy Burggeman with the centre says a certain uniqueness about Salford got them the funding. "We work very closely with the landfill. When they first came on board, they weren`t a welcoming neighbour. But since then they have proved to be a very valuable asset." The money will go towards renovations to the leisure room including walls, flooring, and furniture.
