Brownsville Road between Dereham Road and Culloden Line is closed as OPP investigate a serious collision between a car and a commercial vehicle.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Life threatening injuries are reported after a commercial vehicle collided with a car in South-West Oxford Township.
OPP, Fire and EMS were called out to the scene on Brownsville Road at around 3 p.m. today.
The driver of the car was seriously injured, while the other driver sustained minor injuries.
An investigation is underway. Brownsville Road will remain closed between Dereham Road and Culloden Line for the next several hours.
Update (Tuesday August 21st @ 10:12 a.m.) - Oxford OPP say the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The roadway has also re-opened to traffic.
