A special purpose truck lost control on the HWY and crashed into the back of a tractor trailer before ending up in the ditch.
DRUMBO - One man is facing non life threatening injuries after a truck slammed into the back of a tractor trailer on the 401 westbound near Drumbo.
Police say the crash happened this morning just after 11:00 am when a special purpose truck had a mechanical malfunction and lost control. The truck slammed into the back of an unattended tractor trailer and ended up in the north ditch.
The driver was rushed to the hospital with non life threatening injuries and nobody else was hurt. OPP are still at the scene investigating and one lane of the 401 westbound will remain closed until about 5:00 pm today as crews continue to work on the clean up.
