A pedestrian was charged after a collision at a busy intersection in Stratford.
STRATFORD - A 70 year old woman from Hamilton is facing charges after she was hit by a car at a busy intersection in Stratford.
Police say the woman disobeyed the crosswalk signal on Thursday afternoon and was hit by a vehicle. The collision happened at the intersection of Erie and Ontario Street. EMS and police rushed to the scene and the woman was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Stratford Police are also reminding the public to lock it or lose it after a number of vehicle entries in the Festival City over the past couple of days. Most of the items were stolen from unlocked vehicles. Thieves will target loose change, electronics and any other valuables that are left in plain sight.
