5,894 cases were reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes while 1,797 of deaths were reported from residents living in long-term care homes. Eight of the deaths were reported to be from healthcare workers in long-term care facilities as well. The death toll in Ontario is now 2,778.
2,235,697 tests have been completed so far and 17,839 are currently under investigation.
72 patients are currently in hospital with COVID-19, 26 patients are in ICU and 14 patients are in ICU on a ventilator.
