A Good Old Fashioned Big Family Christmas follows the story of Judith, who decides to host a family Christmas party in order to stop her aging parents from fighting.
WOODSTOCK - Theatre Woodstock is preparing for its holiday production; A Good Old Fashioned Big Family Christmas.
Director, Lenore Butcher tells us about the show.
"The basic story is about poor Judith, whose parents are fighting. Judith is an adult with fighting aging parents. She wants to keep them from fighting, so she hits upon the great scheme that she's going to have a huge family Christmas party, and invite everyone in the family."
Butcher says it does not go swimmingly as there are fights happening everywhere.
Nikki Sloane is one of the cast members and she tells us about the role she's going to play.
"I am Carla, I am the eldest sister, and I'm pretty well stressed all of the time. Once you see my husband on stage you'll understand why. I'm bossy, I'm a little controlling, and I lose my temper."
The production begins this Friday and will run until Sunday December 10th. Both Sunday shows will be matinees starting at 2:00 p.m., while the other shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available to purchase online here.
Lenore Butcher and Nikki Sloane stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Tuesday November 28th. You can listen to the full interview below:
