The Town of Tillsonburg will switch to an every-other-day outdoor watering schedule on Wednesday.
TILLSONBURG - Tillsonburg residents will soon be able to use their outdoor water every other day.
The County is lowering the water restrictions as Wednesday July 12th. Officials say the groundwater supply is more stable now, thanks to the more favourable weather conditions and the residents limiting their water use.
The County still recommends limiting your outdoor water use whenever possible. Some of the tips and tricks include layering your gardens with mulch to lock in the moisture and using a rain barrel to collect rainwater for watering.
The water restrictions were introduced in June due to the higher-than-normal temperatures and the lack of rain.
