The Woodstock Navy are excited about the upcoming season with a lot of their key players returning.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets are gearing up for the 2016/17 season.
Training Camps have already started and with almost all of their key players returning, the team is expecting to be very competitive this year. President Devon Young tells Heart FM the roster is almost set.
"Well it should be quite similar to last year and obviously with the added age and some new prospects coming in, some younger kids and some kids coming in with a little bit of experience as well."
Young says they haven't marked any dates on the calendar yet, but there are some teams they are looking forward to playing.
"To be honest with you any time we play Ayr, any time we play Norwich, Paris, they are all good teams, there is nothing in particular that I would say we circle but I enjoy, you know especially at home, hosting any of those teams."
Woodstock first home exhibition game is on August 27th against Aylmer and they will play their home opener on September 16th.
