The Big Brothers Big Sisters Trivia Night is quickly filling up with 19 teams signed up to show off their big brains.
WOODSTOCK - Spots are filling up quickly for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Trivia Night at the Quality Hotel and Suites.
19 teams have already signed up and Case Worker and Fundraising and Marketing Assistant Kristin Ralph tells Heart FM this is a very fun night.
"Teams across the area get together, about 6-8 players per team, and they take on the other teams in a battle of knowledge. They are all answering 10 rounds of 10 questions and it's just a really great atmosphere of friendly competition. We cross the board with the questions, whether it's history, science, pop culture - there are questions for everyone. So if you are looking to put together a team you really need to think about your friends, who have certain areas of knowledge so you can stack your team."
Teams can sign up until March 2nd and the fun starts on Friday, March 4th at 7 p.m. Ralph says all of the money raised will go towards the programs and services offered by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Woodstock and District.
"All of the money raised will go towards programming in the Woodstock and District area. Since 2013, we have seen a 50 percent increase in the children that we serve, so all of the money will go directly to serving those children and continuing to expand that program, so that would be both one to one mentoring and group mentoring programs."
You can find more information on how you can sign up online. The cost is $25 per player.
