A truck driver was assaulted by two men at the Truck Stop on Oxford Road 29 last week.
DRUMBO - Oxford OPP are investigating an assault at the truck stop just outside of Drumbo that happened last week.
Police say a transport truck was driving on the 401 when the driver noticed a pickup truck was travelling right beside them. The driver of the pickup kept making hand gestures indicating they were upset about something.
The driver of the transport then pulled off the highway and went to the truck stop. They were then assaulted by two men and suffered multiple non-life threatening injuries.
The victim did not get a good description of the suspects as the assault happened quickly, they are described as being in their 20's and both were wearing t-shirts. They were driving a white pick-up truck with a stell box in the bed of the truck.
The Oxford County OPP are appealing to the public for any witnesses who may be able to identify the suspects, and are continuing to investigate. The assault happened on Wednesday July 8th around 2:45 in the afternoon.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
