Oxford County library patrons can now now pre-order books online using the OCL app or by contacting the branch by phone or email for curb side pickup in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg. Patrons will be notified when their order is ready for pickup and are asked to call the library when they arrive. Staff will "checkout" the books and package them in paper bags. Then, patrons will have the option to either walk up to a pickup station or to have the books delivered to the trunk of their car.
Curbside pickup in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will be offered on the following schedule:
- Wednesdays: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Fridays: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
When books are returned, Library staff will quarantine them for 72-hours to minimize the risk of transmission, based on World Health Organization recommendations. In keeping with current public health guidelines, OCL recommends that you wash your hands before and after picking up your library items. For added safety, you can let things sit for 24-72 hours before handling them at home.
