Stunt driving charges have been issued to two drivers following two separate incidents. OPP want to remind everyone that all motorists will receive a minimum fine of $2,000, along with a seven day license suspension if they're convicted.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A Tillsonburg man has been charged with stunt driving after being caught travelling on Pressey Road in South-West Oxford.
The driver was travelling on Thursday afternoon around 3 o'clock when Oxford County OPP, who were patrolling the area, saw the vehicle.
Police have charged the 44-year-old man and he is scheduled to appear in a Woodstock courtroom at a later date.
Meanwhile a 17 year-old driver from South-West Oxford was also charged with stunt driving after they were stopped on Thames Street in Ingersoll.
Officers were patrolling the area on Wednesday morning after 11 o'clock when they spotted the car after it was seen transporting passengers in the trunk.
The driver is expected to appear in a courtroom in Woodstock at a later date.
OPP are reminding all motorists that if they're convicted, they will receive a minimum fine of $2,000 and a licence suspension for seven days and their car will also be impounded for seven days.
