Woodstock residents and businesses have 24 hours to shovel their sidewalks after a significant snow event.
WOODSTOCK - We got quite the snow storm in Oxford County.
The City of Woodstock has posted a reminder on its social media pages, letting everyone know that they have 24 hours to clear their sidewalks of all of the snow and ice. Not only is it an official bylaw, but it also helps everyone get around safely.
The City aims to have one snow plow pass on all City streets within 24 hours after a snow event, but it can take longer sometimes during significant storms.
