WOODSTOCK - A bottle drive is happening right now for Todd's Dogs.
The popular food truck had all of their supplies and their brand new trailer destroyed by the fire at the Fairgrounds earlier this month.
Owner of Tabor Property Maintenance Adam Tabor says they will be collecting bottles all weekend.
"We are going to out collecting up until 8:00 pm on Tuesday evening and then start doing our final tally and hopefully our last trip to the Beer Store on Wednesday. The initial goal we set was we wanted to hit $2,500 and I don't have an exact tally right now but I can say we have already surpassed our goal."
Tabor, his wife Crystal and his friend Jeff Workman started the bottle drive after the fire at the fairgrounds.
"After the fire, my wife and I sat down and thought, what are we going to do, we wanted to give back to somebody who has been a big part of our community. So myself, my wife Crystal and our good friend Jeff Workman kind of got together and we approached Todd and he was on board. For somebody who has done so much for our community, we just wanted to help him out and help him recoup some of what he has lost in this fire."
Tabor says the outreach from the community has been amazing. His phone has been blowing up and he has had a number of people offer to volunteer their services with collecting and sorting the empties.
