The incident happened close to the bridge in Tillsonburg's Coronation Park on Wednesday.
TILLSONBURG - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident that happened in Coronation Park in Tillsonburg.
Officials say a medium-sized, short haired, brown dog bit someone close to the bridge on Wednesday. The dog was off-leash at the time and it did seem friendly at first, before it bit the victim in the face. It not wearing a collar and the owner was no where to be seen.
Public Health officials would like to track down the owner of this dog so they can verify its rabies vaccine history.
Anyone with information should call the health unit at 1-800-922-0096 and ask to speak with a public health inspector.
