An Amber Alert has been issued for 11-month-old Abby Mathewise. She was last seen in Ottawa yesterday and police believe she could be with a 70-year-old woman named Miriam.
OTTAWA - An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing child in Ottawa.
Abby Mathewise is 11-months-old and she's an Indigenous female with short black hair. She also has a feeding tube attached to her nose and could be wearing a navy-blue Montreal Canadiens onesie.
Abby was last seen with her mother in Ottawa yesterday, in the Carling Ave and Pinecrest Road area.
Police believe she was abducted by a woman named Miriam. She's 70-years-old, white and stands at about 5'6. She also has grey hair and could be wearing a light winter coat.
Anyone with information should call 911.
UPDATE: Ottawa Police say Abby Mathewsie has been located safe and one person is in custody at this time.
