Woodstock Police officers stopped more than 3,400 vehicles between November 20th, 2025 and January 1st, 2024
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service (WPS) has released the final results from its Festive RIDE campaign.
Officers spent more than 190 hours at RIDE checkpoints over the holidays, stopping stopped more than 3,400 vehicles between November 20th, 2025 and January 1st, 2024.
This resulted in 49 charges under the Highway Traffic Act. The officers also conducted 37 roadside screenings and issued 18 impaired driving related charges.
The Festive RIDE campaign cracks down on impaired driving throughout the holiday season. The WPS held a kick off event alongside the Oxford OPP on November 20th.
The Woodstock Police Service released a breakdown of the campaign results on its Facebook page a few days ago.
