Local home sales dropped in November
It looks like November's chill also cooled off the local real estate market.
Sales dropped significantly in November with only 67 homes sold.
That was a 1% decrease from November 2012, marking the first time since March that there was a drop in monthly sales from the previous year.
The average sale price also dropped in November, down to $215,478. That's the direct result of a sales jump in homes in the $160,000 - $180,000 range.
So far this year, the average sale price in the Woodstock-Ingersoll District is $230,335, a 3% increase from this time last year.
