The collision occurred yesterday at approximately 8:20 a.m where Perth County Paramedic Services assisted police with the investigation, located on Perth Line 86 near Road 172.
According to the police report, a tractor-trailer driver had to take evasive action to avoid a head-on collision with a passenger car but the tractor-trailer ended up leaving the road and in the north ditch.

The road remained closed while crews removed the transport from the ditch. Police say the road between Road 169 and Road 172 is also closed and to use an alternate route to avoid delays.
OPP say if you decide to drive around the road closed signs you may face a charge of driving on a closed roadway under the Highway Traffic Act. The charge has a fine of $110.00 and three demerit points upon conviction.
