A minivan and a pick-up truck were involved in a collision in the eastbound lanes of the 401 just west of Trussler Road on Monday October 31st.
UPDATE #3: The Oxford OPP is looking for witnesses as it continues to investigate this crash.
Officers would like anyone who may have been driving in the area with a dash camera to check their footage and hand it over to the police.

UPDATE #2: Two individuals from the two-vehicle collision on the 401 in Blandford-Blenheim have succumbed to their injuries.
On Monday October 31st at around 10 a.m., a minivan and a pick-up truck were involved in a collision in the eastbound lanes just west of Trussler Road.
There were five people in the minivan including the driver, who was treated at the scene for minor injuries. The four passengers were transported to hospital with serious or life threatening injuries. Two of the passengers have died in the hospital.
The identities of the deceased are being withheld at this time, pending next of kin notification.
The highway was closed for approximately six hours but has since reopened.
Members of Oxford OPP, Cambridge OPP, West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team, Fire Services from Drumbo, Oxford County Paramedic Services, as well as Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services attended.

UPDATE: Life-saving efforts were successful from the collision on the 401 in Blandford-Blenheim.
Police had provided information via Twitter that two people had died. They are in life-threatening condition.
The highway will remain closed.

OXFORD - There's been a fatal collision on the 401 in Blandford-Blenheim.
Oxford OPP had reported earlier that they were on the scene of a two-vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes of the 401 west of Trussler Road and that Emergency Services were present at the scene.
OPP West Region twitter page has just confirmed that two people have been pronounced dead and another is suffering from life-threatening injuries. Four other people are also at the hospital with serious and minor injuries.
The highway is expected to remain closed for several hours for the investigation.
