Five people are facing a number of charges thanks to a call from a concerned citizen. Woodstock police say they received a call Tuesday afternoon around 4:15 pm with reports of alcohol being thrown from a vehicle in the area of Vansittart and Dundas. Police eventually stopped the car on Bain Street and discovered the five occupants were in possession of stolen property. The four adults and one youth were arrested with Possession of Stolen Property, Break and Enter, Dangerous Driving and Possession of a Controlled Substance. A further investigation revealed the stolen property was taken from a home in Blandford Blenheim Township.
