The Woodstock Fair is back for their 181st year and are celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday with free admission for all.
WOODSTOCK : The Woodstock Fair is back for their 181st year and are celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday with free admission for all.
The signature event of the Woodstock Agricultural society are celebrating their 181st year and have plenty to see and do for all to enjoy.
Chair person of the Woodstock Fair Karen Trick, tells Heart FM that the event will be packed with something for everyone.
" We have the mutton busting, we have the kids mini tractor pull, we have a corn box for kids to play in, we have bales for them to jump on and play in, and we have all the agricultural shows as well."
The event will also feature a pie baking contest, a demolition derby and a free movie viewing.
Trick says she encourages everyone to attend the event.
"It's a good community event , come support your community. Come meet the agricultural aspect of Woodstock. You know a lot of people are in the city have the full agricultural aspect that is offered at the fair."
The Fair will run from Thursday August 24th to Sunday August 27th.
