The Oxford County Pride Committee says someone has thrown paint all over the newly unveiled Pride crosswalk in Ingersoll.
UPDATE: The Oxford OPP has released a video of the Pride crosswalk being damaged over the weekend.
It shows a red car pulling up to the crosswalk at the corner of King Street and Thames Street Saturday night. Someone jumped out of the passenger seat, threw paint on the crosswalk before running back to the vehicle and jumping back in the passenger seat. The vehicle left the scene right away.

INGERSOLL - The Oxford County Pride Committee is asking witnesses to come forward after someone vandalized the Pride crosswalk in Ingersoll.
It had just been unveiled at the corner of King Street and Thames Street last week. The Oxford County Pride Committee posted pictures of the new crosswalk on Thursday, thanking 100 Women Who Care in Oxford for their generous donation to make it happen.
Oxford County Pride posted shared pictures of the damaged crosswalk yesterday. It says someone threw paint all over it and the Town has thrown dirt on top of it in hopes of absorbing it.
Oxford County Pride says a police investigation is underway and anyone with information should call the Oxford OPP or Crime Stoppers.
