It's time to get some bright, new ideas for your garden this Spring.
DRUMBO - The Drumbo Agricultural Society is calling on all the green thumbs in the County to their annual Come Bloom with Us gardening show.
Three guest speakers have been lined up fro the event at the Drumbo Ag Hall on Sunday February 7th. Director with the Drumbo Ag society Margaret Verkuil tells Heart FM it promises to be a great break from the winter.
"Christmas is over and people are kind of chomping at the bit to get some fresh ideas for gardening, so it works well to host this event in February. We will have a variety of topics that are of interest to gardeners and two of the guest speakers will be doing education based presentations."
She adds it is a great chance to get some fresh ideas for your garden this Spring.
The presentations are by:
Sonia Day: Toronto Star garden columnist, artist and award winning author. She will be discussing “Perennials – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
Sandra Pella: Head Gardener at the Toronto Botanical Garden since 2008. She has been the 'Horticulturist' face for the National Home Show campaign since 2014.
Denise Hodgins: Garden coach as well as garden columnist with the Sun Media group including the London Free Press. Her topic will be “The Three B’s of Container Gardening (Boxes, Barrels and Baskets).
