A Norwich man facing manslaughter and drug trafficking charges will have his day in court next year.
NORWICH - A Norwich Township man facing manslaughter will have his day in court.
William James Knapp Jr is facing three charges including criminal negligence causing death, mislead a police officer and manslaughter. His trial has been set for February 26th in 2018. Knapp have his trial before a jury and it is expected to last for 2 weeks.
He was arrested after the death of 32 year old Carolyn de Wit. De Wit died on January 25th of last year after her body was discovered inside a Norwich restaurant. She died from an overdose to Fentanyl. Fentanyl is a prescription drug that is often sold illegally on the streets and is considered 100 times more potent than morphine.
