WOODSTOCK - It was another great year at The 27th annual Business Awards of Excellence for the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce.
Last night, awards were handed out to local businesses in front of a sold-out crowd. The night began at 6 p.m. at the Colombo Club of Oxford in Beachville. Chamber General Manager, Mike Crabbe says it was great to see everyone in attendance.
"This is really our key event of the year that really welcomes the community to highlight just how wonderful our business community is here in Woodstock, and for the nominees to celebrate each other too is quite something magical to see."
There was a video presentation detailing the background of each of the nominated businesses before the votes were cast. The coveted President's Award was handed out at the end of the night.
"We were able to award our 8 categories, as well as a President's Award for Bob Armstrong of Giant Tiger who has done some really incredible work across the community for varying organizations."
President of the Chamber, Jason Stanko, commented on how plans are in place for the 2025 edition of the awards ceremony.
