Oxfordia Medical Centre will be getting a new Family Doctor.
WOODSTOCK - There is exciting health news in Woodstock.
A new family doctor will be opening his practice at Oxfordia Medical Centre in the Friendly City. Dr. Hamza Aman will provide comprehensive, evidence-based family medicine for patients of all ages. Dr. Aman has an approach which emphasizes respectful, culturally sensitive care, with a focus on listening to patients, explaining care options clearly and partnering with patients in decisions about their health. Physician Recruiter for the City of Woodstock, Kristy Hons, says why this is so important for the community.
"Woodstock is home to families from many backgrounds, and it is important that local health care reflects the diversity of our community. Dr. Aman’s commitment to making patients feel heard and understood, including through care in multiple languages, will be a valuable addition to Woodstock’s primary-care community."
Dr. Aman is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi, helping patients discuss their health concerns in the language in which they are most comfortable. Hons shares more thoughts on the news.
"We are proud to welcome physicians who choose to build their practices here and contribute to a healthy, inclusive and growing community."
Patients interested in registering with Dr. Aman are encouraged to visit the Oxfordia Medical Centre website and select the New Patient Registration option to register.
