ONTARIO - Select convenience stores in Ontario can now sell alcoholic beverages.
Starting today, licenced corner stores can sell beer, cider, wine and ready-to-drink cocktails between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
About 40 percent of convenience stores in the province have voiced interest in being about to sell alcoholic products. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has issued a total of 4,200 licences so far.
