Daily case numbers are up slightly today with 590 confirmed in Ontario, 939 resolved cases and an additional 11 deaths.
ONTARIO - The Province of Ontario has confirmed 590 new cases of COVID-19 this morning, bringing the total number of cases in the Province to 538,077.
The Province confirmed 11 new COVID-19 related deaths this morning, bringing the total in Ontario to 8,931. Another 939 cases have been labelled resolved, bringing the total number of resolved cases to 522,682.
The province completed 31,423 tests yesterday. We currently have 516 COVID-19 patients in the hospital with 450 people in the ICU and 291 in the ICU on a ventilator. Most of the new cases are coming from hot spot regions with 130 new cases in Peel, 114 in Toronto, 61 in Waterloo, 38 in Hamilton and 32 in York Region.
