"Unbelievable, remarkable, I would never have envisioned anything like this!" That's what Reverend Austin Snyder had to say about Operation Sharing 30 years later. He was the founder of the organization back in 1982. Snyder said it began as he was trying to help the poor areas in the community. Operation Sharing had an anniversary celebration today. Chair of the Anniversary Committee Marg Murray was pleased with the turnout. She saw a few familiar faces: "I've spoken to a couple of people already who've been around throughout the 30 years. They've moved on in their life, but were really pleased to have been part of Operation Sharing and the meeting place and what that offered them at that time." Different organizations and church groups have been visiting Woodstock to learn more about the programs offered at Operation Sharing. Thrilling news to Snyder: "I think it's absolutely wonderful, they need to come here because we are a model."
