Oxford County council is currently comprised of three representatives from Woodstock and the remaining seven seats are filled from the Mayor of each municipality in Oxford. The deadline is at the end of August.
OXFORD COUNTY - County Council wants to hear from the public to help design the next council and how the Warden is chosen.
The discussion of council is part of the larger overall review of functions in the County. Council is currently comprised of three representatives from Woodstock, including Mayor Trevor Birtch and two councillors.
The remaining seven seats are filled from the Mayor of each municipality in Oxford. The Warden is selected from Council.
